We Started With a Brewery. We Didn't Stop There.

In 2019, a brewery closed. The equipment went quiet. The fermentation tanks emptied. But the passion – the deep, stubborn, irreversible love for craft beer – didn't close with it.

It survived. And it needed somewhere to go.

That's Talk About Beer.

Beer Has Been Around for 7,000 Years. It Deserves Better Than Silence.

Beer is the oldest social drink in human history. It built civilizations, fuelled harvests, gathered communities around fires and tables. Yet somewhere along the way it became background noise – something you grab without thinking, drink without tasting, and never talk about.

We think that's a waste.

Knowledge Is the Best Thing That Ever Happened to a Pint

We believe that knowing more about beer makes beer better. Not in a pretentious, swirl-and-sniff way. Not in a gate-keeping, you-wouldn't-understand way. In a this is what makes this beer taste like this way.

Education isn't the enemy of enjoyment. It's the amplifier.

Not Wine. Never Wine.

We love wine. We respect wine. We are absolutely, definitively, not wine.

Beer has no velvet rope. Beer has a barstool and a spare seat next to it. You don't need a vocabulary. You don't need credentials. You need a glass and an open mind.

Community Is the Ingredient We Can't Brew Without

Talk About Beer is not a publication. It's a community – living, growing, opinionated, occasionally loud – of people who give a damn about what's in their glass. We argue about hop profiles and food pairings and whether a Baltic Porter is better than a Stout at 2°C. (It is.)

We come from Sweden – a country with a complicated relationship with alcohol, an extraordinary appreciation for quality, and a design sensibility that values simplicity and honesty over noise and flash. We take those values everywhere we go.

About the Merch (Because We're Honest About It)

We are capitalistic hippies. We believe in community, knowledge, positive vibes, and also paying our bills. These things are not in conflict.

So we make merch: printed on demand, with Wear Your Craft running through all of it. What we don't do is sell beer. We leave that to the people who make it and pour it.

For Adults. For Good Nights.

Talk About Beer is for adults, and it's about information, not indulgence. We'll tell you a thousand things about a beer. We will never tell you to have another. Drink it the way you'd like to remember it.

The Only Rule
